Jessica Rappaport, MD, FAAP joined the Medical Staff at North Shore Pediatrics and Beverly Hospital in February 2007. Dr. Rappaport is a cum laude graduate of The University of Pennsylvania and obtained her Medical Degree at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Upon completion of her Pediatric Residency at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Dr. Rappaport went into private practice in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. In 2004, she accepted a teaching appointment at New York’s Cornell University, where in addition to her teaching responsibilities; Dr. Rappaport was Assistant Attending Pediatrician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Rappaport can be seen on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. She is currently accepting new patients from infants to adolescents.
Thomas M. Seman, MD is a Partner at North Shore Pediatrics. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont and his Doctor of Medicine Degree at Tufts University School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Seman holds a certification in Medical Photography from Beth Israel Hospital School of Medical Photography. Dr. Seman is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the America Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Seman is a member of the Medical Staff at Beverly Hospital.
Dr. Seman is married with 2 children and was named Best of Boston Pediatrician in February 2005. In addition to caring for children, Dr. Seman enjoys skiing, photography, fishing and travel. Dr. Seman practices primarily on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
David O. Danis, MD is a Partner at North Shore Pediatrics. Dr. Danis completed his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin and his Doctor of Medicine Degree at the St. Louis University School of Medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Danis completed his training at the Boston Floating Children's Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Danis is currently a member of the Medical Staff at Beverly Hospital.
Dr. Danis is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to his work with children in the Boston area, Dr. Danis has participated in treating children in Bangladesh, Peru and Haiti. Dr. Danis has won numerous awards for teaching and is currently involved in teaching residents at our Danvers Office.
Dr. Danis is married with 4 children and practices primarily in our office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Abhinav Garg, MD is a Partner at North Shore Pediatrics. Dr. Garg completed his Bachelor of Science degree at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his Medical Degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Garg received his Pediatrics training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Dr. Garg has focused his career on the care of children and has participated in numerous research studies, taught various classes focusing on Pediatrics and has been awarded research funding for the study of bronchodilators in infants and children.
Dr. Garg is married with 2 children and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Hindi. He also is able to communicate in French and Spanish. Dr. Garg is currently accepting new patients and practices in our Danvers office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Dr. Garg is a member of the Medical Staff at Beverly Hospital.
Maureen Mathews, MD is a Partner at North Shore Pediatrics, PC. Dr. Mathews holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, a Masters of Public Health, a Masters of Arts in Medical Sciences and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Mathews completed her post-doctoral training at the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Dr. Mathews has served as a Clinical Fellow in Pediatrics at the Harvard University Medical School and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. During her training she was a member of Alpha Omega Epsilon graduate honor society.
Dr. Mathews is available for appointments in our office on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Lawrence J. Essember, MD is a member of the Medical Staff at North Shore Pediatrics. Dr. Essember completed his medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School, Boston Massachusetts and his post-doctoral training at DC General, Bethesda Naval Hospital, Chelsea Naval Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. During his career, Dr. Essember has served as an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and served on the active Medical Staff of MGH, Hunt Memorial Hospital and Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail, Colorado. Currently, Dr. Essember is Staff Pediatrician Emeritus at Beverly Hospital. Dr. Essember was the founding physician of the original North Shore Pediatrics.
Additionally, Dr. Essember has spent a large portion of his career in the diagnosis and treatment of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). As one of the foremost experts on ADHD, Dr. Essember serves as the ADHD Consultant at North Shore Pediatrics and can be seen on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday.
Kathy Therrien, PNP is a member of the Medical Staff at North Shore Pediatrics. Kathy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the State University of New York at Plattsburg and her Master's of Science in Nursing from the Maternal-Child Health Program at Boston College. Kathy is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Kathy has focused her career on the care of Children. Kathy began her career at Massachusetts General Hospital serving as a Staff Nurse and aided in the development of a Pediatric Standards of Care Manual for MGH. Additionally, Kathy has gained international experience as a Pediatric Nurse Manager at the King Fahad Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
At North Shore Pediatrics, Kathy's practice is open to children from infants to adolescents. Additionally, Kathy provides clinical nurse supervision to the nurses at NSP. Appointments can be booked with Kathy on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and she can be seen on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings.
Lauren Tajima, PNP - North Shore Pediatrics, PC is proud to welcome Lauren Tajima to our Medical Staff. Lauren is a pediatric nurse practitioner who joined our staff in May of 2007. Lauren graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Movement Science and completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston. Prior to joining North Shore Pediatrics, Lauren worked a number of Boston area pediatric practices and health care facilities including Boston’s Children’s Hospital.
Lauren will be available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and will be seeing children and adolescents for both sick and well visits. |
