Vaccinations
North Shore Pediatrics has a strong belief in the vaccination of children. We support all of the required vaccinations and offer many of the recommended vaccinations as well. The Centers for Disease Control has developed a recommended schedule for childhood vaccinations and we do our very best to keep strict adherence to that schedule. It is our intention to provide an office where it is unlikely that your children will be exposed to a vaccine preventable disease.
When you make the decision to not vaccinate your children, you are relying on the surrounding community that has vaccinated their children, to keep your children safe from contracting a vaccine preventable disease. Our office provides several combination vaccinations which will decrease the number of injections for your children; however, we do not carry every individual vaccine, so splitting vaccinations is not always possible. If you are considering not vaccinating your children, you should discuss this with your Primary Care Provider as soon as possible so that alternate care can be arranged for your child if necessary.
